Only a Still Small Voice
“… The Lord passed by… (with) a still small voice.” (1 Kings 19, 11-12)
A great and strong wind came
And rent the mountains
And after the wind came an earthquake
And broke in pieces the rocks,
Then was a fire that burnt it all.
But the Lord was not in the wind
Neither was He in the earthquake
Nor in the fire,
Because the Lord passed by
With a still small voice.
And rent the mountains
And after the wind came an earthquake
And broke in pieces the rocks,
Then was a fire that burnt it all.
But the Lord was not in the wind
Neither was He in the earthquake
Nor in the fire,
Because the Lord passed by
With a still small voice.
